Blue Jays Take The Angels 9-1
Glory Days Blue Jays (2-0) defeated the Toms River Angels by a score of 9 to 1 at Clune Park.
The BJs, sponsored by South Jersey Heat and Cool, continued their hot start for the year. Mike Caputo went 1 for 3 with 3 runs scored and 2 stolen bases. Tyler "Baseball" Hobbs added a double. Paul Gudzak, Kyle Skoog, Brian Cottrell, Mark "Skip" Caputo, and Brandon "Hot Sauce" McTigue added hits for the BJs. Cottrell, who earned the honor of "BJ of the Week", got the win on the hill striking out 9 in 4 inning pitch. Hobbs and Skoog finished the game on the hill.
