Blue Jays defeat Twins
The Glory Days Blue Jays (7-0) defeated the Glory Days Twins 17-3 in 6 innings.
The BJs, sponsored by South Jersey Heat and Cool, were led by Stephen "Blue Cheese" McTigue. Blue Cheese got the win on the hill, going 5 innings striking out 11 including a 4 strike out inning in the 3rd. Offensively, he went 1 for 3 with 3R, 2RBI, and a SB. The Brick Boys all had 2Bs today- Tyler "Baseball" Hobbs (2 for 4), Brian Cottrell (1 for 4) and Kyle Skoog (1 for 2 3RBI and SF). Mike Caputo (1-3 3R), Brandon "Hot Sauce" McTigue (1 for 1 2R, 2B, 2SB, HBP, BB), Shane Brand (1 for 2 2R RBI), and Marc "Skip" Caputo (2BB, 2R) helped the offensive cause. "Mad" Matt Madensky returned from the Disabled List and went 1 for 4 with 2RBI. Dave Flynn made a cameo and went 1 for 4. A solid BJ effort from all.
