Condors Win Again
Maybe it's the uniforms? The all new Blue on Blue Condors, in rags designed by Mr. Jacque Smitheaux of Orange County (some describe as "sharp", others say they resemble smurfs in pillowcases) are winning basball games of late. Whatever the reason, the team has found a new rhythm, and it's definitely not the blues.
Taking advantage of every opportunity in an 8-run 1st, the Condors rolled behind another great start by Luis Casas and a strong finish by Jay Smith. Things got a little loose in the middle, but the bats stayed hot and provided more than enough to overcome a charge by the Dodgers and get revenge for a loss back in April.
Leading the way, 5 extra-base hits including a double and a triple (and 4rbis) by Chris Browning, 2 doubles by Joe Blink, and a 4 hit game from Petros Khrimyan, who narrowly missed his first career HR. Shoutout to new addition Dave Halagarda, who has 6 hits in his first two games with the C's.
The Condors head into the July 4th break, hoping to continue the fireworks when we all resume for the stretch drive toward the playoffs.
