Dan Trujillo, pitching for the Diablos, allowed only 1 unearned run and 2 hits until the 7th when he lost some control and walked two batters to start the inning before being lifted in relief. Luis Casas, of the Condors, allowed 3 runs (2 earned) in his 7 innings. The 3 BBs the Condors received in the 7th, along with 2 hits, the final one being Dave Halagarda's 2-out single, gave the Condors a 4-3 lead. Adding 3 more in the 8th frame allowed some breathing room. Jay Smith closed out the final 2 innings for the save.
