Brew Crew remained undefeated, scoring every inning in win
In the top of the first, the first two Brew Crew batters reached on errors and scored. It was a portent of things to come. Three straight singles starting the 2nd led to 2 more runs. Then the Crew added 6 more runs in both the 3rd and 4th innings, with 4 walks in the 3rd and 3 safe on errors in the 4th. Despite the charity, the Brew Crew was still hitting the cover off the ball, tallying 21 hits in 5 innings. The shorthanded Diamondbacks scored their lone run in the 2nd inning when the first 2 batters singled and the lead runner came around to score on back-to-back grounders. Seth Hamill pitched four 2-hit innings for the win.
Bobby Reddick (4 hits, 3 runs, 5 RBIs) and Justin Long (3 hits, walk, 4 runs, 3 RBIs) filled up the scorebook to lead the Brew Crew. Seth Hamill and Jake Gohn added 3 hits, while Ricky Grace, Paulie Pittinger, and Jeremy Gottsch had a pair of hits. Pittinger also had 4 RBIs.
