Dodgers win seesaw game over Indians, making 3-run 5th stick
Both teams offenses were clicking through the first 4 innings. The score was tied at 7 going into the 5th after 3 lead changes. The Dodgers' Jon Kilmer was then able to tame the Indians' offense with 3 no-hit innings to close out the game, allowing an unearned run with 3 walks and an error. In the bottom of the 5th, Jason Miller scored his 3rd run of the game and Anthony Simonetta knocked in his 4th and 5th runs to give the Dodgers the lead for good. Each team added a run in the 6th for the 11-8 final score.
Simonetta (run, 5 RBIs) and David Haynes (2 runs) led all hitters with 3 hits, each going 3-for-3. Mark Haynes, Kilmer, and AJ Loehwing also collected two hits for the Dodgers. For the Indians, Jared Grim had 2 hits and Eric McNeil homered with 2 runs and 2 RBIs.
