Vikings continue dominant start to season with 2nd shutout
The Vikings took advantage of the Diamondbacks' wildness and defensive miscues to score 23 runs. They didn't record their first official at-bat until the 8th batter of the game. Blake Chronister and Jose Vega combined to throw a 4-hit shutout. Mark Vottero and Luis Delgado each had 3 hits. Vottero and Erik Amspacher both scored 4 runs. Three more Vikings had 2 hits--Vega with 2 runs and 2 RBIs, Tim Steinhauer with 2 doubles, 3 runs and 4 RBIs, and Adrian Ferrer with 3 runs and 2 RBIs.
