Indians pour it on late to break 2-2 tie
The early game was dominated by the pitchers as Ryan Chataginer and Bill Rexroth were trading zeros until the bottom of the 4th when the Indians got on the board with a pair of runs. Chataginer only allowed 1 hit over 4 shutout innings for the Indians. The Blue Wahoos would get on the board in the top of the 5th with a pair of runs of their own to knot the game at 2. The Indians' bats then exploded, scoring 6 runs in the 5th and 3 in the 6th to surge to an 11-2 lead and seal the win.
Mike Spiro led the Indians with 3 hits, while Rick Thompson, Kyle Lentz, Cory Goshorn, Chad Moser, and Ryan Chataginer each had 2 hits. For the Blue Wahoos, Randy Pepo was perfect, reaching base on a single and a walk.
