Allegheny Vision Vipers Surge Past Aul Bat Company
Allegheny Vision scored six runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Aul Bat Company 11-0 on Monday at Baker Field. Vipers jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Devin Donaldson doubled, scoring two runs followed by Adam Crawford's doubled to score two runs and finally, Nick Arnoni singled, driving in the final run of the frame. Ethan Tinker earned the win for Allegheny Vision, the pitcher surrendered three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking two. Justin Wright took the loss for Aul Bat Company. Joe Aul, TJ Dailey and Traynor Janosko each collected one hit for Aul Bat Company. Vipers piled up 11 hits in the game. Donaldson and Alex Arrigo were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for the victors while hitting back-to-back. Donaldson went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in.
