Base Invaders Falls To Plum Pterodactyls
Plum Pterodactyls got on the board twice in the top of the fourth inning after Ken Boyle singled down the left field line and Justin Weaver scored on a sacrifice fly. Jacob Wagner earned the win for Plum Pterodactyls. The pitcher gave up four hits and two runs (zero earned) over six innings, striking out eight and walking one. Nolan Hurd took the loss for Base Invaders. The starting pitcher went six innings, giving up five runs on six hits, striking out seven and walking four. Greg Spynda started on the hill for Plum Pterodactyls. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Mason Suss, the number seven hitter for Base Invaders, led the way with two runs batted in. Noah Kaszer, Hurd, Dylan Lacher, Brady McGough, and Michael Todd each collected one hit for Base Invaders. Base Invaders were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Suss had the most chances in the field with seven. Jake Auld went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Plum Pterodactyls in hits. Plum Pterodactyls had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Plum Pterodactyls turned one double play in the game.
