Netto's Finishes On Top After Base Invaders Comeback
The Snack Shack started off the game with a 4-run lead after the fourth inning. Matt Bisceglia drove in 2 runs in the second inning on a hard line drive to center field, while Ryan Tierney scored in the first inning and drove in a run in the fourth inning. The Base Invaders then scored 5 runs and took the lead in the fifth inning, thanks to 3 consecutive RBI singles by Dylan Lacher, Jason Siemon and Daniel Clevenger. Down 5-4, in the top of the 6th inning, Netto's loaded the bases for Kaden Flambard to hit a bases clearing double, making the score 7-5 in favor of the Snack Shack. The Base Invaders went on to score one more run in the bottom of the 6th inning but it was not enough. Relief pitcher Shane Clunan earned the win for Netto's, throwing 2 1/3 innings and surrending 1 unearned run. Base Invaders' hitting was led by Lacher and Brady Hodge, who each collected two hits.
