Gators prefer no sox with their meals
A well-played game for a first fall effort. The Gators, full of fall newcomers, make only two errors and win the contest 6 to 2. The Gators had multiple players with one hit and took advantage of playing small ball, stealing bases, moving runners after walks, and sacrificing to score runs.
Ken Stefanalli pitched a gem, followed by Lee Frankel and Carlos Ponce.
Defensively, both Sam Gerald and Langston Tolbert made enough web gems to have a small highlight reel.
For the Sox, a great effort by Chris Browning, who had the low fastfall buzzing, and the division should be looking forward to his continued improvement as a pitcher and eventual dominance.
