Sox prevail
The Red Sox took a 3 run lead into the 9th and this time came away with the W.
The Sox took an 8-2 lead into the 7th before the Cubs battled back.
Leading the way for the Sox was Richard Glavas with a booming 2 run double in the 4th, 2 hits from Ethan Wolferman including a 2 run single, 2 hits apiece from Troy Christian, Chris Browning, Richie Pena and Brian Stolz including a triple. Richie Pena stole 3 bases including home in the 1st.
Don McClain made the defensive play of the game at SS, snaring a ball up the middle, spinning 360 and throwing a strike to first.
On the mound Chris Browning kept the big bats of the Cubs in check with 4 strong innings to start the game and kept the ball on the ground, giving way to John Sosa who went 5 to get the win.
