Juan Luna?s Clutch Hitting Propels BabyBoys To Victory
Juan Luna drove in four runs on two hits to lead The BabyBoys past Menifee INDIANS 14-6 on Sunday at Paloma Valley High School. Luna hit a home run to right field in the second inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the sixth inning, scoring one.
The BabyBoys scored eight runs in the first inning on the way to victory. Alec Valenzuela singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Jake Vasquez drew a walk, scoring one run, Carson Casady singled, scoring two runs, and Freddy Hill doubled, scoring three runs.
Luna homered to right field, scoring two runs in the top of the second for the The BabyBoys.
Vasquez earned the win for The BabyBoys. The left-handed pitcher surrendered zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Chris Thomas, Patrick Carson, Luna, and Casady each threw scoreless innings for The BabyBoys in relief.
