Vipers Run Rule Netto's Snack Shack
The Allegheny Vision Vipers put together another complete performance Tuesday night, dominating Netto's Snack Shack in a 10-0 shutout victory at West Field. The Vipers wasted no time taking control, striking for three runs in the opening inning. Nico Knight ignited the offense with a two-run double before Zach Dugan followed with an RBI single to give Allegheny Vision an early cushion. The offense kept the pressure on in the second inning, adding three more runs to break the game open. Adam Crawford drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, Nico Knight delivered another RBI double down the right-field line, and Devin Donaldson capped the rally with an RBI double to left, extending the Vipers' lead. Jake Seymour was outstanding on the mound, tossing six scoreless innings to earn the victory. The right-hander scattered just two hits while striking out seven and walking three, keeping Netto's hitters off balance all evening. The Vipers' lineup continued its relentless attack, collecting 10 hits while displaying patience and speed on the bases. Donaldson paced the offense with a 3-for-4 performance, while Knight drove in a team-high three runs and finished 2-for-4 from the heart of the order. Alex Arrigo reached base repeatedly with two walks as Allegheny Vision drew an impressive 10 free passes on the night. Once aboard, the Vipers turned up the pressure, swiping six bases. Chris Eisel and Nico Knight each stole multiple bags as Allegheny Vision constantly challenged the defense. Ryan Tierney and Julio Rondon each recorded a hit for Netto's Snack Shack, but the Vipers' pitching staff never allowed the home team to generate any offensive momentum.
