Nolan Hurd Powers Aul Bat Company To victory

Aul Bat Co. would get the scoring started in the bottom of the 2nd plating 5 runs after a bases loaded fielders choice and back to back singles by Pete Aul and Heath Mackulin. The Ducks would add two more in the 3rd after Nolan Hurd led the inning off with a home run to center filed and a Max Daley hit brought in another run on an RBI double. But 3 River Barber Shop would respond by plating 2 in the bottom of the 3rd and 5th innings to cut the lead to 7 - 4. Aul Bat would add an insurance run in the top of the 7th when Hurd brought another run in on a double to lplus the ead to 8 - 4. 3 Rivers Barber Shop would rally to score 2 in the bottom of the 7th and put the tying run on second but Aul Bat Company would stop the rally on back to back fly outs to take the game 8 - 6. Hurd led the way on offense for the Ducks going 4 - 4 including his home run, double, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Reid Rachwal pitched 5 solid innings surrendering just 3 earned runs striking out 6 and picking up the win.
