Bulldogs Pitching Leads To A Much Needed Win
Colin Dougherty started the game for the bulldogs and went 5 strong with 6 punch outs. Brent Herrmann came in for the last two to complete the shutout. The Bulldogs started the scoring in the 3rd inning with three straight singles from Brenden Gray, Mithc Robinson and Jake Stotsky. They tacked on an insurance run in the 5th when Herrmann created an insurance run for himself with pure speed. He singled, got picked off but stole second, caused a balk to get to third and then was singled home by Robinson. Jacob Wagner threw 6 and 2/3 strong innings for the Pterodactyls.
