Netto's Snack Shack Secures Win Against Plum Pterodactyls
Netto's Snack Shack bested Plum Pterodactyls 4-3 on Friday at Whitaker Park. Plum Pterodactyls got on the board in the first when an error scored one run. Netto's Snack Shack took the lead in the top of the second inning after Ethan Coddington doubled down the right field line and Zach Karp walked, each driving in one run. Netto's Snack Shack added one run in the third. Kaden Flambard grounded out, making the score 3-1. Netto's Snack Shack scored one run in the top of the fifth on a solo home run to center field by Alex Polka. Karp earned the win for Netto's Snack Shack. The hurler allowed two hits and two runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking one. Boyle took the loss for Plum Pterodactyls. The reliever went three innings, giving up one run on two hits, striking out two and walking none. Shane Clunan collected the save. Roman Donis also appeared in relief for Netto's Snack Shack.
