Plum Opens 2026 With Extra Innings Victory
Jacob Wagner fanned 14 batters in a comeback victory for Plum on Sunday at Seymour Field. Plum struck first in the top of the first after Stephen Rodgers led off the game with a HBP and stole second. Colin Solinski then drove him in with an RBI single. Mt Lebanon answered with run in the bottom half of the inning, and then added another run in the second. That lead would stand until the top of the 5th when Alex Terrell was hit by a pitch, stole second and then was knocked in by an RBI single by Tom Pulice. The score remained tied until the top of the 8th. Terrell scored again on an RBI single, by Ken Boyle, and then Kyle Krason added an insurance run with a solo home run to right field. Wagner held on in the bottom of the 8th to secure the win for plum 4-2. Wagner went the full 8 innings allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits, 3 BB's and 14 K's.
