Mudcat Pitchers Fan 17 Batters In Walkoff Win
Quinn Construction jumped ahead in the first frame when Aidan Munsie singled home Jim Pasquine. South Park Ricky Dz tied the score in the 4th when Lucas Lybarger trotted home on a Dylan Orth sac fly. Both teams struggled to muster any kind of offense in this pitchers duel. Finally, in the bottom of the 8th, the Mudcats walked it off on a bases loaded ground ball that was misplayed by the third baseman. The error allowed Bert Kovalsky to score and give Quinn Construction the win. Hats off to the pitching combination of Brody Simmons and Zane Griffaton who combined for 17 Ks on the evening.
