Alex Arrigo Powers Vipers Past South Park Ricky Dz

The Allegheny Vision Vipers left no doubt in the second game of this doubleheader, unleashing an offensive onslaught and cruising to a 16-1 victory over the South Park Ricky Dz at Baker Field to cap off a dominant series win. The Vipers came out swinging and never looked back, scoring 10 runs in the opening inning and putting the game out of reach before the Ricky Dz could settle in. Mac Ciocco ignited the offense with an RBI single before Nick Arnoni added a sacrifice fly. Joey Pugh followed with a two-run single, and Nico Knight later scored on a tag-up play. Devin Donaldson delivered one of the biggest blows of the inning with a three-run double, while Ciocco and Arnoni each added RBI doubles as the Vipers sent wave after wave of runners across the plate. If the first inning wasn't enough, Allegheny Vision poured it on again in the second. Donaldson drove in another run with a single, an error brought home an additional run, and Alex Arrigo delivered the knockout punch. With the bases loaded, Arrigo launched a towering grand slam to right field, sending the Baker Field crowd into a frenzy and extending the lead to 16-1. While the offense stole the headlines, Adam Crawford was outstanding on the mound. The right-hander earned the victory after striking out six batters over three innings while allowing just one run on two hits. Crawford attacked hitters from the start and kept South Park off balance throughout his outing. The Vipers finished with 11 hits and showcased their depth from top to bottom in the lineup. Donaldson paced the attack with a perfect 3-for-3 performance, driving in four runs and scoring multiple times.
