Late rally boosts Rails
The Huskies opened their season on Friday night with Willmar visiting VMF. The two teams traded runs in the 1st, with Jake Wendland getting the Huskies on the board with an RBI double. Hutch took a 2-1 lead in the 5th with Jayden Fleck's RBI single. The Rails scored 3 times in the 8th and 9th, as the Huskies miscues became the difference. Jon DeRock threw 4 innings, striking out 6. Carter Kurth took the loss in relief.
