Huskies top Brewers for first win
The first road game of the year proved to be a good one as the Huskies took down New Ulm Wednesday night. A 4 run second inning gave Hutch the lead as Matt Piechowski drove in 2 with a double and Jake Wendland added 2 more RBI. The Brewers scored 4 times in the 5th and grabbed a
6-4 lead. The 7th inning proved to be the difference at the Huskies scored 5 times. Max Martin drove in 2 and Wendland added another RBI. Carter Kurth took the win in relief striking out 7 and allowing just a run.
