Red Sox - Coach Jason Storm Back To Defeat Hubbardston

Despite trailing by as many as six runs, Red Sox - Coach Jason rallied to defeat Hubbardston 14-8 on Friday at Hubbardston.

Azuri Copeland collected four hits in four at bats in the win. Azuri Copeland doubled in the fifth inning, doubled in the seventh inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

Red Sox - Coach Jason got on the board in the first inning after Maximus Dopkus grounded out, scoring one run.

Hubbardston took the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Gabe singled down the left field line, and Ben grounded out, each scoring one run.

Hubbardston scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. A dropped third strike scored one run, Gabe singled, scoring two runs, Ben doubled, scoring one run, and Harris doubled, scoring one run.

Red Sox - Coach Jason tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a double by Atticus Dopkus, a walk by Maximus Dopkus, a double by Azuri Copeland, and a single by Mason Loveday.

Red Sox - Coach Jason took the lead in the top of the sixth. Atticus Dopkus singled, scoring one run, to give Red Sox - Coach Jason the leg up, 8-7.

Hubbardston scored on a passed ball, which helped Hubbardston tie the game at eight in the bottom of the sixth.

Red Sox - Coach Jason flipped the game on its head in the top of the seventh, scoring six runs on six hits to take the lead, 14-8. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Ethan G that drove in two.

Jmo Amico-Gravelle stepped on the hill first for Red Sox - Coach Jason. The hurler gave up eight hits and eight runs (five earned) over four innings, striking out seven and walking two. Sean opened the game for Hubbardston. The pitcher allowed nine hits and seven runs (six earned) over five innings, striking out two and walking six. Dominik Larson threw two innings of no-run ball for Red Sox - Coach Jason in relief. The hurler surrendered zero hits, striking out five and walking two.

Red Sox - Coach Jason collected 17 hits in the game. Ethan G and Azuri Copeland each drove in three runs for Red Sox - Coach Jason. Davaniel Troche, Izrael Copeland, Jmo Amico-Gravelle, Atticus Dopkus, and Mason Loveday each collected multiple hits for Red Sox - Coach Jason. Red Sox - Coach Jason had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Jmo Amico-Gravelle and Maximus Dopkus led the team with two bases on balls each. Davaniel Troche and Jmo Amico-Gravelle each stole multiple bases for Red Sox - Coach Jason. Red Sox - Coach Jason ran wild on the base paths, piling up nine stolen bases for the game.

Gabe and Ben were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Hubbardston. Owen, Keaden, Harris, and Gabe each stole multiple bases for Hubbardston. Hubbardston stole 11 bases in the game.

Red Sox - Coach Jason welcome West 2 (Phillips) on Wednesday for their next game.
