Cash Rules Everything Around DC, Sox Get No Money $$$ Ya'll!
Word up, look out for the Sox. Some grow up on the crime side and some grow up on the East Skyway side, a wise man once said. So then we moved to Burlington land. A group of young youth, all rocking the gold tooth, 'Lo Sox!
Sometimes cash just isn't enough. Sometimes even the bourgeoisie get caught up in the game. A day late and a dollar short some might say? Some might say it in the parking lot after the game in a quiet huddle. Gentlemen? Probably not. Men? Probably not. Sea worthy? Probably not. Treacherous swines? I digress. Regardless the Sox tried staying alive with no jive but ultimately despite a game long rally could not defeat father time in a 7-6 loss to the Hamilton Pirates.
Another 1st inning horror show for the Sox vs the Pirates in back-to-back games! The inning from hell that wouldn't end. With Benny MIA (just because and without warning) the Sox were forced into a rough defensive display from the POs all over the field. Doomed from the start, senior alumnist Dan (DC) Cameron watched his defense implode as a 5 error 1st inning (and a couple of bleeders) plated 7 from the scurvy proletariat Pirates of Hamilton.
Sean Kretz threw 5 scoreless innings of relief to completely shut down the Pirates and give the Sox a chance. With only his closest 20 family and friends on hand to watch, Sean decided he could not just get by no more. Word up Sean! As he gotta get over, straight up and down the Pirates lineup pitching zeros!
The Chef, J- Lay launched a monsterous solo homer in the 2nd to spark the offense. Hit machine Alex Gaudet was C.R.E.A.M all over the field with 3 hits in 3 ABs. Puerto Rico Moncur learned to overcome the heartache and pain as he drove in 2 runs to lead the Sox.
No question the Sox would flow off, and try to get the dough. Sticking up Pirate boys in ball fields. But life got no better for the Sox, same damn 'Lo Sox. Times might seem ruff and tuff like leather. But the Sox figured out they went the wrong route. Post game rolling in MPVs, every week making forty G's. You GHBL Tier 1, respect mine, or anger the competition. Ch-chick POW! Sox move the gate now!
Next up for the brotha Sox is a mash up on Sunday at the Milton hood.
