Bombers Cool the Heat 8-1
The Bombers took on the Jr. Heat at Strehl #91 in a 6pm contest. The Bomb Squad tallied a few early runs and scored more later in the game to knock off the Heat 8-1.
The story of the game was the pitching staff as Justin Williams, Anthony Pritchett and Brenden Heiland combined for 6 innings of work and striking out 14 batters.
Tyler Keane showed his best imitation of Scott Rolen by making several Sports Center worthy plays at third.
Up next for the Bombers is the Mavericks in a Monday night contest at Shady Springs.
