Storm Hold Off Battling Bandits
In a game featuring the 3-2 Storm vs. the 3-2 Bandits, the Storm jumped out to an early lead, but the Bandits kept coming back. With the Bandits having the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th and 2 out, trailing by 4, Storm center fielder KC Kasin made a diving catch in left center to end the game and secure the victory. Mike Ivy picked up the win going 7 1/3 innings and surrendering 5 hits. Pat Armstrong picked up the save going the final 2 2/3 innings. At the plate for the Storm, Rick Guardino and Mike Risch had 3 hits apiece.
