Allerdice drops the ball against Spring St.

Milton, NY-----This Wednesday Allerdice (2-5) was plagued by errors, set new lows in fielding, and also ended a two game winning streak.

Oddly enough, It snapped a two game losing streak for Spring Street Deli (5-2) when these two teams battled it out. In the early innings it seemed like an even match up much like the last time they met. However, Spring St. pulled ahead in the 6th for good and then added some heavy insurance in the 7th.

Starting Pitcher E. Thompson (1-1) pitched a solid 7 innings for the Dice walking none and striking out none. Thompson showed no signs of fatigue until the 6th when Spring St. mustered a string of 6 hits. This put Spring Street ahead 10-7. It was the first major signs of offense from the Deli. The 7th was even more damaging with a leadoff error followed by 5 straight hits to the gaps and two more errors that capped off an 8 run rally for the Deli.

Spring St. Starting Pitcher Brums (4-2) was backed up by a solid defense that committed no errors the whole game.

Next week Allerdice(2-5) will stay at Milton and face the Circus Cafe(1-6). The Circus, no joke, rounds out the bottom in power rankings with 58 runs for and 120 against.
