St. Mary's wins a close one!!!

St. Mary's answered Carlton's one run in the fifth with two of their own in the bottom of the inning and then held off a last ditch rally by the Clippers for the 2-1 victory. Johny Page went the distance for St. Mary's scattering five hits and striking out 12. John Kryger had the big hit for St. Mary's on a drive to left field that brought home both runs. For Carlton, Ryan Golden struck out seven in four innings of work. Austin Wheeler had a hit for Carlton and also made two nice plays at third base.
