A's cough up 9-0 lead in loss to Oconomowoc
The Kewaskum A's were dealt a humbling blow by the Oconomowoc Five-O's Wednesday night, as the A's saw a 9-0 8th inning lead disappear as Oconomowoc put up 10 runs in the decisive 8th inning. Oconomowoc had 14 straight runners reach base at one point in the inning. The A's wasted solid performances on the mound by Jim Ziegler (3IP, 2 Hits, 2 K's) and Brad Boegel (3IP, 3 BB's, 3 K's) while Jake Spaeth, Brad Boegel, Brad Young and Jim Ziegler all pitched in with 2 hits offensively on the night. The loss drops Kewaskum to 1-2 (0-1 TCNL) on the year. The A's will look to regroup this weekend as they travel to Saukville on Saturday for an exhibition game, while on Sunday they travel to Slinger for their first Rock River game of the year.
