A's top Neosho 8-4 in Tri-County action
The Kewaskum A's knocked off the Neosho Rockets by a score of 8-4 on Friday night in Tri-County play. Luke Kopeschka (Win, 6IP, 7 Hits, 3ER's, 8K's) and Brad Young (3IP, SV, 2 Hits, 4K's) shined on the mound, while Adam Sarauer (4x5, 2B, 2RBI's) and Dan Shea (2x3) led the A's offensively.
The A's tied the game at two in the 2nd on back-to-back RBI walks by Jay Kuczynski and Ty Schill, while Kurt Zagzebski's 3rd inning homer put the A's up briefly 3-2. Neosho responded back with a single run in the 4th to tie the game and another run in the 5th to take the lead. In the 5th, Adam Sarauer's RBI double tied the game back up at four, and Sarauer later came around to score on a wild pitch to put the A's up for good.
