Rookie Hurler Goes Distance for the Win
Andrew Anduray got the call from the big club Friday night in Barstow. He was getting called up to the labl and starting Saturday afternoon. After taking an all night Greyhound, he did himself proud, throwing a complete game (8 inning) victory against the hard hitting Hurricanes. The Angels took advantage of wildness from Canes starter Jarrod Schwartz and turned 13 walks into 12 runs, with the aid of some hot and timely hitting from Shelby Hunt (2-3), John Park (2-4, double, triple, 4 rbi) and a breakout bases clearing double by Dan Vogel. The Angels played solid defense behind Andrew and made the most of their 6 hits.
