Starting pitcher Cesar Alamillo threw 6 shutout innings, and reliever Elvis Sanchez finished it off with 3 shutout innings of his own. With the bats, Joe Perez led the way with 3 RBI's, and Frank Andrade drove in a pair. Phillip Castillo made a ton of plays at SS, and both corner outfielders (Frank Andrade & Robert Amerian) made sliding diving plays on outfield line drives.
