Raiders Beat Mudcats 11-8 to Earn Double Header Sweep
The Raiders (3-1) came out strong in Game 2 of the doubleheader. They jumped out to an early 7-0 lead after the first inning. The Raiders hitting attack stayed hot with 11 runs on 18 hits, for a total in the double dip of 27 runs on 38 hits! Leading the way again was Ryan Barlow with 3 hits in 3 at bats (6 for 6 on the day)! Connor Albano, Ryan Cataldo, Stephen Lumme, Ryan Meyer, John Pacey and Patrick Russell all had 2 hits each. Brandon Patanjo, Kris Tessa, Tyler Lockwood, John Sanchez and Liam Ryan all had either 1 hit, and RBI or run scored in the game. Tyler Lockwood (2 2/3 IP, 6 Ks) started and earned the win with Patrick Russell (3 1/3 IP, 3 Ks) earning the save in relief. Next up for the Raiders is the Hershey Chocalatetown Classic this weekend in PA! Great job Raiders and lets show Hershey how we play Raider Baseball!
