Green Blows out Red! The game between red and green was fun to watch while green ran up the score and red put forth an undeafted effort until the final minutes of the second half. The green team used teamwork, confidence and energy to win the game by a margin of 44 points, setting the season high for points scored, while Chris Garcia also set a blendos summer league record finishing with 31 points. The green team showed it was a cohesive unit by racking up 26 team assists and stole from the opposition 12 times and overcoming adversity. When their best defensive player (DJ Basile) was sidelined due to early foul trouble, John "Speedy" Bramsen came off the bench to finish with a solid performance. Red struggled to put the ball in the basket early but the shooting woes continued as the green team kept the defense thriving throughout the second half. Allen Ruffles put forth a great defensive effort while Jay Devine did what he could to make it a contest offensively. Player of the Game = Chris Garica (31pts, 3 steals, 8 assists, 2 rebounds).
