Sun Dogs maul Knights as team lights up from 3
Without captain Dave Delattre and center Brian Rodda, the Knights were undersized to say the least. The team however did not look phased by their lack of size early as the team got off to one of their best starts to the season on both sides, going up 11-4 after the first 5 minutes. After a switch to man defense from the Sun Dogs however, the lead all but evaporated as in the blink of an eye the Sun Dogs were up 34-19. That stretch along with a 2nd half transistion run put the Knights in way too big a hole and the Sun Dogs simply were poised and confident in the 2nd half, as the entire team seemed to hit an on switch from 3. It should be noted Ryan Mawhinney became just the 3rd member of the NOBL's 1000 pt/1000 Rebound club.
