Knights D earns teams first W After a very rough week 1 , the Knights composed themselves and controlled the game to earn their first W. The Knights and Rollers were close early but early on it looked as if it had the makings of being "one of those games" where unlucky rolls are regular and no balls bounce your way. The Knights would build the lead to double digits with good movement and man defense that was their best thus far. The Hi Rollers went on a run to end the half however, hitting a free throw, missing a free throw, getting rebound, and hitting a 3 closed it to single digits. The highlight of the game was the run by Sean Bradin, who hit 4 straight 3's to close the deficit and eventually give the Rollers a lead. The Knights were able to respond and get the lead back once again. After regaining the lead the team would not relinquish it as they were able to do enough late and hit free throws and rebound to clinch up their first W.
