Sun Dogs heat up, get cold, get hot again to handle Knights The Sun Dogs were very hungry at the start, going on an 11-0 run that seemed like the team was honed in on getting another 20+ victory. Dave Delattre answered 16-2 deficit to hit 4 straight 3's and close the gap. The Knights were able to stay with the Sun Dogs for most of the first half, but a few stretches of poor defense/turnovers cost them. The Sun Dogs came out the 2nd half gates sluggish, as the Knights cleaned up their sloppiness and went on a run to take the lead with 12 minutes left. After a timeout the Sun Dogs hit the on switch, playing great defense and hitting big shots consistently to go up by 10+ again. The Knights made 1 late rally to get the deficit a little inside 10 under 2 minutes, but the team missed too many big ones to compete. The Sun Dogs are on a roll.
