Knights survive Nastiness with controversial W In a controversial classic, the Knights prevailed. The Nastiness and Knights broke the trend of their usual blow out one way or the other style to play 40 minutes of competitive and tough basketball. The teams both went on runs throughout the game. After struggling early defensively in zone, a switch to man allowed the Nastiness to slow down the Knights offense and really tightened the game up late. The Knights also made a switch to man as the game slowed down significantly late. The Nastiness made a rally after being down 10, a late missed/rushed layup was the backbreaker. The end of the game was filled in controversy, the Nastiness rushed a layup due to the clock not stopping after a made shot, allowing several key seconds late to run off. Also in controversy, is the fact the the 2 teams played with the belief the Knights were up 5 late, but after statchecking the box score states the Knights only won by 1. A true shame a classic battle is marred by errors.
