Pistons edge Clippers in controversial finish The Pistons pulled through with another hard fought W. The team came out strong as Matt Dittes and Paul Halata both had early offense as they hit shots. The Clippers meanwhile started out sluggish and sloppy as the team was plagued by turnovers and easy misses for most of the games. The Clippers trailed by 10+ on several occassions but each time the team would cut the deifcit down and bounce back. They took lead late in 2nd half and game remained extremely back and forth in final seconds. Cody Antonini hit a clutch 3 to put Pistons up 2 with 30 seconds left. After that, the Clippers would miss free throws that could have tied game. Down 2 inside 7 seconds left, Matt Glenn called foul that PA overruled. The Pistons had free throws to seal it but missed 3 straight as Clippers got board with 1.5 seconds left. There, the Clippers would inbound and it would not go as planned as team could not get a shot at buzzer, preserving another hard fought Piston W and another heartbreaking L for the Clippers.
