We Got Game Survives Late Push From BBL in One-Point Thrille In one of the closest games of the day, We Got Game held off a surging BBL squad for a narrow 55-54 win on Court 2. It was a tale of two halves, as BBL battled back from a halftime deficit with a determined second-half effort, but fell just short at the final buzzer. Savion Boissard paced We Got Game with 20 points, hitting three three-pointers and adding 3 free throws in a steady offensive outing. Alex Hayes was a force inside and out, scoring 14 points while grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds, along with 2 blocks and 2 assists. Jeremy Moylan made key plays down the stretch, contributing 9 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists while holding things down defensively. Frankie Fuzie and Kameron John chipped in with timely baskets and hustle plays, while Shykel SUB added 3 points and 3 assists off the bench in a solid supporting role. We Got Game shared the ball effectively, finishing with 14 assists and a dominant 39 team rebounds. BBL showed tremendous heart in the second half, outscoring We Got Game 27-19 and nearly completing the comeback. Louis Marrero led the charge with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and a game-high 6 steals, doing everything he could to lift his team. Glenn Finke added 14 points, hitting four three-pointers and providing a needed scoring spark. Dylan Williams added 12 points with two threes, while Joshua Audain and Max Earl combined for 11 points and contributed on the boards. Cameron Gerow and James Wodzinski added key defensive plays, with Gerow blocking two shots and Wodzinski snagging a late steal. Though the scoreboard showed a one-point difference, both teams walked away with plenty to be proud of. We Got Game's poise under pressure earned them the win, but BBL's resilience and team effort made it one of the most exciting contests of the day.
