Knickerbockers Lock Down Kings in Defensive Showcase The Warwick Knickerbockers put on a defensive clinic in a 56-23 win over the SelfMade Kings on Sunday afternoon at Court 2, using a dominant first half and steady contributions from their core to cruise to victory. Zach Goldstein led the charge with 18 points on an efficient 9 field goals, controlling the paint and finishing strong at the rim. His 6 rebounds helped Warwick control the boards, while Josiah Joseph added 12 points and 6 assists, including two timely three-pointers to keep the momentum rolling. Darrel Davis Jr. contributed 10 points and a key steal, showing toughness on both ends of the floor. John Lupkovich and Ryan Tellier were also standouts in the effort-heavy categories. Lupkovich scored 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, while Tellier added 6 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists, helping keep the offense flowing. The SelfMade Kings struggled to score in the second half, but had bright spots in the first frame, particularly from Noah Brown, who led the team with 10 points and knocked down a pair of threes. Jihad Robinson brought energy off the bench with 4 points and a team-high 6 rebounds, battling hard in the paint. Matthew Gray added 6 points and showed flashes of offensive promise with a few strong drives to the basket. Despite the scoreline, the Kings showed fight early and continued to play hard throughout. Warwick's control of the glass, unselfish ball movement, and disruptive defense ultimately set the tone for a complete team victory.
