Wildcats Hold Off Knickerbockers in Sunday Thriller In a fast-paced and high-scoring battle on Court 2, the Washed Wildcats edged out the Warwick Knickerbockers, 91-82, in one of the most exciting games of the weekend slate. The Wildcats came out blazing, putting up 55 points in the first half behind lights-out shooting from deep. Will Siebert led the way with a stellar 26-point performance, knocking down four triples and showing off a smooth perimeter game. Luke Michalski was a force inside and out, adding 19 points and dominating the paint with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Harrison Neil did a bit of everything, chipping in 12 points and grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds while providing key defensive stops. Despite the early deficit, the Knickerbockers stormed back in the second half with a 46-point effort, led by the relentless energy of Josiah Joseph. Joseph poured in 20 points, hit four three-pointers, and dished out 8 assists in a standout all-around performance. Sebastian Ball added 18 points and was aggressive from the jump, while Darrel Davis Jr. brought toughness and production with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Zach Goldstein was another bright spot for Warwick, tallying 15 points and 5 assists while stretching the floor with a pair of threes. Ultimately, the Wildcats' balanced attack and early scoring cushion proved too much for the Knickerbockers to overcome. Both teams showcased impressive individual efforts and offensive firepower, setting the stage for more must-watch matchups as the season continues.
