Second-Half Surge Lifts We Work On That Past Most Hated We Work On That used a dominant second half to break a halftime deadlock and secure a 72-54 win over a gritty Most Hated squad on Court 3. Locked at 28 apiece at the break, the game shifted dramatically in the final frame thanks to a balanced team effort and stifling defense. Zayne Watson was the difference-maker, pouring in 19 points and leading the second-half surge with aggressive drives and strong finishes at the rim. Kevin Stein added 12 points, knocking down a pair of threes and dishing out 5 assists to keep the offense fluid. Romeo Aquino delivered another strong performance with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks, showcasing his all-around impact on both ends. We Work On That?s team-oriented style was on full display. Thirteen assists, six steals, and 20 total rebounds contributed to a well-rounded win. Darius Boben chipped in 9 points and a block, while Trevon Gray knocked down two threes to finish with 10 points. Most Hated brought fight and flair, especially through the dynamic scoring of Jah Likai King, who dropped 26 points with four three-pointers, keeping his team in the hunt throughout the game. Dashawn Moody added 14 points, bringing energy and hustle, while Ernest Elliott scored 9 and was perfect from the free-throw line. Sorin Eckert added 5 points and grabbed 3 rebounds in a solid supporting role. Despite falling short, Most Hated showed flashes of offensive explosiveness. But We Work On That?s depth, defense, and second-half execution ultimately proved too strong, as they pulled away and secured another impressive win.
