Let It Fly Soars Past Blue Hearts, Improves to 6-1 Court 1, August 2, 2025 Let It Fly continues its strong summer campaign, pulling away in the second half to notch a 69-47 win over the Blue Hearts and improve to 6-1 on the season. Despite a competitive first half that saw Let It Fly leading by only three (16-19), a dominant 18-9 third quarter sealed the deal as their fast-paced offense and aggressive rebounding overwhelmed a fading Blue Hearts squad that now falls to 1-6. Tim Stephens was once again the offensive engine for Let It Fly, dropping a game-high 29 points, including five three-pointers and four free throws. He had help from Schyler Trujillo, who posted a well-rounded 20-point, 12-rebound performance and kept the pressure on both ends of the floor. Sean Vazquez added 14 points and matched Trujillo with 12 boards, showcasing Let It Fly's ability to dominate the glass. The Blue Hearts, led by a trio of 12-point scorers - Dion Henderson, Cameron Palmer, and Michael Pflugler kept pace early but couldn't maintain momentum. Palmer contributed across the stat sheet with 7 rebounds and a block, while Pflugler chipped in with three triples. But Blue Hearts struggled mightily from the free throw line, converting just 2 of their attempts, and committed costly turnovers that Let It Fly quickly turned into transition buckets. Let It Fly's defense held the Blue Hearts to just 15 made field goals overall, while their offense clicked with 13 assists and 7 three-pointers. The victory keeps Let It Fly in the top tier of the standings with a 6-1 record, while Blue Hearts will need to regroup quickly as the regular season winds down. Next up, Let It Fly looks to continue their winning ways, while the Blue Hearts try to snap a skid and salvage what's left of their season.
