After leading by just one at halftime, 40-39, EWU took a double-digit lead on a 3-pointer by Casey Jones that made it 61-49 with 12:57 to go. Junior guard EJ Neal led the Vandals with 20 points off the bench, shooting 7-of-13 from the field and 3-of-6 from 3-point range. UI?s other double-figure scorers were Quinn Denker (19 points), D?Angelo Minnis (17) and Kyson Rose (15). The surging Eagles were led by Ethan Price with a game-high 22 points. Coward added 15.
