The Mob Take Second Victory of the Day
The Mob used their momentum from their first game of the day to take a 25-6 halftime lead, finishing with a 38-12 win over Silent Seven in action at Miner Park.
Russ Monroe was 4-for-12 with two touchdown passes for the winners, with Will Johnson and Muhi Tajudeen catching the scores. Monroe, Tajudeen, and Sammy Solomon all ran for scores as well.
Drew Chollette, Sr. as 5-for-11 with two touchdowns and an interception for Silent Seven. Maurice Fuller and Tyrell Jacobs caught touchdown passes in the loss.
Defensively, Solomon had two sacks and Jordan Blake added another. Tajudeen had a fumble recovery for a score and Teonne Sherrod picked off two passes in the victory.
With the win, The Mob have moved to 2-0 on the young season. They will face Immortal in their next contest. Silent Seven dropped to 0-2, with a matchup against Backyard Ballers up next.
