Immortal Toss Aside Backyard Ballers
Immortal continued their scoring onslaughts this season, finding the end zone early and often in their 54-2 victory over the Backyard Ballers.
Anthony "Live" Watson led the way offensively, going 17-for-20 with seven touchdown passes in the win. Kyle Jenkins caught two of those touchdown passes. Watson spread things out to eight receivers, with six catching touchdown throws -- Khairi Carson, Zahir Dunell, Brandon Gonzalez, John Karazia, and Jay Mensah all had touchdowns in the victory.
For the Backyard Ballers, Jagar MacDonald was 5-for-13 with an interception. Cameron Faux and Damon Stern caught passes in the loss.
Defensively, Dunell had an interception and a sack-safety for the victors. Karazia, Breon Phillips, and Ryan Waters all added sack-safeties in the win. Ryan Womack also had an interception for Immortal.
Stern had three sacks in the loss, including one sack-safety.
