Dave McPhail opened the scoring, and was followed by a Frank Buoncore goal, which provided the Lions with a 2-0 half-time lead. The Lions added five goals in the second half when Sean Margison scored two, and single goals by Steve Rebizant, Vince Ferlaino, and Frank Buoncore completed the match scoring. Sean Sylvestre recorded the shutout in goal for the Lions.
