This is how I see the teams so far...........LET IT BEGIN!!!!!! 1. Amigos- They are big all around and very very physical and with Mr. Fein leading the charge I see this team very hard to beat. 2. Grizzlies- This team came out hot right out the gate and never let up with the combination of Rambo & Shev. With both wins winning by 25 plus this team can possibly dethrone amigos at 1 but right now they are 2 3. Steamrollers- wow......just wow.....Jose is making it work with a team that everyone predicted to just be all about sibel, this team came out very strong in both of their games playing team ball. Sibel number 1 pick had 12 points the first game but was helped by his teammates who helped score 82 points. Ryan has helped tremendously, Jose def could have killed his season if that trade didn't pan out but still to early to say that he didn't....... Don't sleep 4. Affet (NOT USA)- This team is where I'm most confused about... am i the only person that feels that they play better without shaw? Affect helps a lot with his aggressive play who rattles almost every player in the league.....with that being said I believe this will be the most inconsistent team in nobl 5. Blackhawks- This team has the potential to match anytime hands down! I just don't feel a connection yet with they players beside billy and dave and this is whats hurting them. I see this team making a run but fizzling out..... 6.Clippers- Rough start so far but I still wouldn't count out the commish. With his passion on and off the court this team will catch fire and when they do everyone watch out cause he has the man power to do so behind duffy ( arguably the best pg in NOBL) leading the charge I see this team being a problem later in the season.....Dont underestimate the commish....FEAR THE BEARD (when he had one of course) 7. Pistons- Victoria was criticized for taking cody at 2 but he is starting to get his feet under him a bit and the team as a whole has solid players just some others are just lost in the sauce. 2-1 for the first week for them which I'm sure everyone is surprised but this team took advantage of teams that weren't clicking on all cylinders (not Excuses) I don't see them beating those teams again come the second time. 8. Colonels- AHHHHH this team frustrates me..... They have so much talent on paper but its not translating to the court. Mason, Dimar, Casey, Blank....... beginning of the season it struck fear in opposing teams but now I feel like noneone fears them but themselves. I see a turnaround but Not enough to compete with the other teams. Also with casey hurt This team might find the momentum for their captain to return on some W's ( Wish speedy recovery to Casey) 9. Bullets- Ant needs to make some moves here......I saw this team and I like it but after seeing them play they have no true pg.... this hurts their key players....Shelps and Schafer cause they both can be easily top 15 players in the league.... its not showing and I think thats because there is no ball handler on the team. 10. Oaks- IDK where to start here...... Humpf needs to take control of the paint more take over... 7 shots a game for you shouldn't cut it!!!!!! shots need be taken from other players in order to change their losing ways around and the way i see that happening is the captain shooting more and everyone just taking smarter shots. With dwights injury that can really turn humpfs season upside down, but IDK how much more it can turn upside down. ( Wish dwight a speedy recovery) I THINK WE NEED A BASKETBALL BABY TO PREDICT THESE GAMES!!!!

A quick breakdown of the upcoming season. At first glance Jose had a very uninspiring draft. After landing defending championship MVP Zach Sibel with the #1 pick he took questionable talent after questionable talent. But he did what any desperate captain does- he hit up Delattre. Taking Bauman off his hands for the price of nothing. This team will have its struggles but may win some games on the back of Sibel. Victoria made history twice already this fall. Once by being the first female captain in league history and the second by becoming the first captain to regularly sit down to pee since Zach Beegal. Her draft looks good on paper and even better in the weight room. Recent pick-up bball phenom Cody Antonini will look to lead the charge after going #2 while BF Menyo, Zavorski, and Frye look to out muscle the competition. This team has the talent to win a good chunk of games if everything goes their way. Flaherty's draft looks very strong. Landing a difference maker in Duffy Barrett at #3 then having perennial playmaker Joe Brown fall into his lap Rd. 2 was an ideal start. If Glenn "blazes" through traffic on a consistent basis to get to Poplar, this will be a team that wins many games. Humpf put together a big team capable of making some noise. Dwight Williams was a surprise at #4 but certainly a player talented enough to warrant the selection. Jay Colbert is a much buzzed about rookie who could prove to be a mismatch for many teams as well. Humpf's team is an early front runner to go deep. Defending Rookie of the Year Feinstein struck gold when Monagle fell into his lap at #5. Combine this with Mawhinney in Rd. 3 and this team's size could make them a power. By the same token, Mawhinney taking shots away from Feinstein and Monagle could also lead to this team's demise. This group has scrappy, scumbag Defeo's fingerprints all over it. If things break right this team could be a contender. Bremme made some very good picks as well as some very questionable picks. Rambo and Shev are a great way to start. Offense & defense to the extreme. Add in Wilks and Roedel and this team could be a good squad. For now we will see how many games Shev can make it to. Without him they could be in trouble. Defending MVP Shelepets, or should I say Schaefer, looks to have put together a good team. Taking GM Schaefer with his first pick then coming back with size and length in Quinn and O'Brien gives this team a strong starting unit. Pallanta is an outstanding energy guy but seems to have been a bit of a reach. This team will make a run though. Casey Adams stepped into a captain role for the first time and looks to have done a good job. Mason will provide the scoring while NOBL vets Dimartino, Blank, and Dittes provide stability for the rest of the starting unit. Dimar should be proud of the team he assembled. This team has the ability to go as far as any. Affet, coming off a finals defeat, looks to have had his worst draft as a captain yet. McIlwain in the 1st should be good but taking Willie in the 2nd looks like a reach. The jury is out on Shaw but that could be a strong pick. Regardless of his draft, Affet will inevitably scratch and claw his way into contention. Both literally and figuratively. And last Delattre had yet another strong draft. Surrounding himself with sharpshooters Rongione and Petraitis along with potential star Sean Kelly, Delat looks to have assembled a dream team. Hope to catch them on a windy day because if not this team will be tough to take down.

Affet- C- (72 Overall) - Affet's worst draft, he slipped up on this one and reached on Willie Jackson and Kris Shaw. Team will be mediocre, and only because of defensive ability of himself, Willie, Lally, and Vince. Best Pick- Vince McIlwane Worst Pick- Kris Shaw Amigos- B- (81 Overall) Who's bringing the ball up? No guards and all bigs= formula for overcrowded bench and missed potential. This team will go as far as Fein can take them but expect some drama over playing time. Best Pick- Sean Monagle Worst Pick-Sosnoski Bullets- B (86 Overall)- Shlepets drafted complimentary team to go along with his skill set. Although he reached far too high on Tony Pallanta, and Monach/Ferreri are both complete unknowns, this team will be a tough out in a series. Best Pick-Tim OBrien Worst Pick- Tony Pallanta Pistons- B- (80 Overall) - The first female captain drafted a lot of size but took risks on unproven NOBL rookies by drafting Antonini,Menyo, Burns, and Frye. Who are these guys and are they any good? Too soon to tell for sure but this is a sleeper middle of the road team that could be a top 3 seed if rookies are as good as advertised. Best Pick-Halata Worst Pick-Donohue Colonels- B (85 Overall) - Depth is a major plus for this squad as Casey Adams stunned many by drafting a viable competitor. This team is a boom or bust unit, either big winning streaks or guys being shipped out. Will this team play well together/ play defense? So far the draft was solid though. Best Pick- Brandon Mason Worst Pick-Randy Young Oaks- A (93 Overall) - Size, athleticism, and a tough captain. These 3 things put this as the early league favorite. No team will be bigger or badder than the Oaks. Watch out. Best Pick- Marcelo Affet Worst Pick-Sean Caplan Steamrollers- D (65 Overall) - Number 1 overall Zach Sibel has his work cut out for him. He is surrounded by role players who's role this season will be FEED SIBEL THE BALL. Expect this team to be more focused on minutes played than wins. Sorry Nene, you're about to be Steamrolled for 18 games. Best Pick-Sibel Worst Pick-Tyler Paul Clippers- C+ (78 Overall)- Duffy Barrett finally is freed from his marriage to Rambo and is on a team thats a 1 man show. Lack of size and true scorers could become issue for this team. Tyler McDevitt is a complete unknown, Joe Brown and Matt McFarlanes scheduling woes could really put this team on the outside looking in come playoff time. Best Pick-Duffy Barrett Worst Pick-Joe Brown Blackhawks- B+ (88 Overall)- Dave Delattre put together his best draft of the bunch (but is that saying much?) . His unit will play a Basketball 101 style that covers the basics. Sean Kelly is rumored to be a difference maker and this team will need him to man the middle up. This team will be a top team throughout season and their playoff future depends on how well the team is shooting. Best Pick-Sean Kelly Worst Pick- Josh Patman Grizzlies - C- (71 Overall) - Bremme's draft was an up and down one, going with early offense of Rambo to compliment Shev's defense in 2nd round. This team lacks consistent scoring and Bremme will be required to take on a much bigger offensive role this season as opposed to last year. Factor in instant dramaa/ a constant remind of the NOBL 7 controversy of Wilks and Rambo and you have yourself the team that NOBL will have its season of "Hard Knocks" focusing on. Too many attitudes and too little of pure scorers for this team to make a successful run. Best Pick-Shev Comer Worst Pick-Jay Wilkins Biggest Steal- Sean Kelly Biggest Reach- Tyler Paul

ONE LAST MOCK TO END ALL THE MOCKS 1-Sibel-Jose gets his # 1 from the beginning. 2-Antonini-Rookie at number 2 overall, will be interesting storyline. 3-Duffy-No brainer pick. 4-Monagle-He makes his return to a happy humpfy home. 5-Schaefer-Schafe and Fein's charade of not wanting to play/draft each other comes to an end and the master plan all comes to fruition as the duo teams up and turns the NOBL world on their head. 6-Dwight- Dwight is given the rock early and often in Vancouver. 7-Rongione-Rong and Shleps combine again as Shelepets tries to build off Bucks success. 8-Mawhinney-Rebounds galore. These 2 will pose a GIANT problem in the paint. 9-Mason-Affet and Mason give it a go to make Sun Dog magic. 10-Rambo-Delattre and Rambo will score at will, 0 doubt that Rambo is the guy here.

Here I unveil, my mock, and on then 7th day, I rested. ROUND 1 1-Jose-Sibel (Reigning Finals MVP gets rewarded but will be forced to carry large load with Jose's pick variety.) 2-Victoria-Antonini (The rising rookie has his draft stock elevated to the near highest level, immediate expectations and pressure, but his talent will be able to help him live up to hype.) 3-Flaherty- Duffy (The elite point guard goes 3rd and is the building foundation for the Clippers, which he will run the show but the intersting plot of the season will be how will he fare without his buddy Rambo?) 4-Humpf TRADES with Affet- Mason- (Affet makes big powerplay to move up from 9 to 4 to grab Mason unlike NOBL 7. He thins out his roster but with his buddy Mason that duo will make a run.) 5-Feinstein-Rongione (Feinstein grabs his outside shooter to play off of and takes one of the league's premier shooters.) 6-Bremme- McGarry (After their split in NOBL 7 for the Wolves, Bremme gives it another go and drafts Conner as his pure point and building block to work the rest of the team from. 7-Shelepets- Schaefer (Wise trades put Shelepets in a better spot to grab his original target, and with Schaef as his top pick, expect him to be given a green light all season.) 8-Casey- Mawhinney (Casey grabs another impact rebounder in hopes of rekindling their success from last fall, question then is when will Casey draft his point to run the show?) 9-AFFET trades with HUMPF- Monagle (Humpf's big trade pans out big time as he still gets his target at 4 and adds additional picks) 10-Delattre- Shev- (After his Lakers lacked defense, Delattre makes it a point to take defense early and build around one of the league's best defenders.) ROUND 2 11-Delattre - Dwight (With his 2nd pick, Delattre takes NOBL 7's #1 pick as a key offensive weapon and huge asset athletically. Will be interesting to see feedback if he passes on Rambo) 12-AFFET trades with HUMPF - Jay Colbert- The blockbuster mid draft deal pans out for Humpf as after getting Monagle he grabs huge rookie Jay Colbert as his muscle center to impose his will in the paint. 13-Casey- Blank- (Casey attempts to rebuild another previous NOBL champion as he grabs the All time leading scorer to do just exactly that, score.) 14- Shelepets- Petraitis- (Shelepets gets one of the highest ranking point guards and the trio they have will fundamentally sound and pure.) 15-Bremme- Rambo- (The bearded Grizzly gets an absolute steal at 15, Rambo will provide the scoring and playmaking that this team needs.) 16-Feinstein- DiMartino- (Feinstein drafts his captain from the summer and creates a fundamental trio between himself, Rong, and DiMartino.) 17-Flaherty- Quinn- (The Commish takes a center and a former teamate he had chemistry with, combine him with Duffy and the Clippers have potential at being a good offensive spectacle.) 18-HUMPF trades with Affet- Willie Jackson- Affet gets his next guy as he takes defensive specialist Willie Jackson, pissing off Bremme.) 19-Victoria- Menyo aka GRONK (Victoria takes her man and the man who will hold down the paint. GRONK SPIKE) 20-Jose-McILwain- (Jose grabs one of last year's biggest draft steals as his top 2 picks offer a dynamic 1-2 punch). ROUND 3- 21- Delattre- Berkowitz , 22-Victoria- Zavorski, 23-Shelepets- Tim OBrien, 24-Humpf-Anterzonian, 25-Feinstein-DeFeo, 26-Bremme-Wilks, 27-Shelepets-Wiatrowski, 28-Casey- Swanekamp, 29-Affet-Lally, 30-Flaherty-Roedel ROUND 4- 31-Delattre-Pfender 32-Affet-McGinty 33-Casey-Wynne, 34-Humpf-Alex Smith 35-Bremme- Matt Glenn, 36-Feinstein-Levy 37-Flaherty-Dugan, 38-Flaherty-McCormick 39-Victoria-Brown 40-Jose- Ryan Dittes

In all my infinite wisdom I've decided to lay out the top 5 MVP candidates for the NOBL 7th Heaven fall season with scouting reports 1) Andrew Schaefer- After a bust out second season, Schaef tops this list due to his ability to flat out score the basketball. Immediately considered among the elite shooters in the league, Schaef is more than a one trick pony with deceptive quickness Schaef manages to get to the cup because of the respect he commands off his jump shot. Compliment him with even the most average of bigs, and he's virtually unguardable. When motivated an elite level defender and well above average rebounder. Couple in his best friend relationship with Randy, his motivation is at an all time high to perform and keep him satisfied. Look for big things from this stud come fall. 2) Duffy Barrett- Need I say more? Elite level point guard with crazy court vision and awareness. No one is ever NOT open with Duffy on the court. As talented a finisher at the rim in the league, and NO ONE I mean no one can keep him out of the paint. Add in his uncanny ability to rebound the basketball among the leagues elite size inside, Duffy continues to add to the legend that is Duffy Barrett. 3) The Rest of the League. No one can compete on the same level as these two, frankly both could wind up in The League after their strong fall seasons.
